AMS Neve 1081 Hand-Built Microphone Pre-Amp/EQ
The AMS Neve 1081 Pre-Amp/EQ was first designed in 1972 and intended for use as a Mic/Line Pre-Amplifier/EQ Strip for Neve Modular Consoles. The 1081 has been used consistently throughout the decades that followed, and can be heard on some of the greatest recordings ever made, right up to the present day. Each unit is hand-built to order in the UK Burnley factory, and the 1081 is regarded as the perfect Pre-Amplifier for recording in the Studio, particularly effective with Bass, Drums and Percussion Instruments.
