X-ART tweeter & rotatable HPS waveguide

Thanks to the ADAM Audio HPS waveguide, you get a precisely directed sound guide with a wide dispersion angle in the horizontal and narrow focusing in the vertical. Made from an innovative high-density fibreglass polymer material, unwanted resonances are minimized, resulting in a clearer sound image. Conveniently, the tweeter can be rotated by 90 degrees to allow the monitor to be used both vertically and horizontally without having to forego the benefits of the waveguide.

At the center of this HPS waveguide is the so-called X-ART tweeter - handmade in Germany and with the guarantee of maximum impulse response and richness of detail.

Woofers made from multi-layer mineral

The bass drivers of each A-Series speaker consist of multiple, firmly bonded layers of a mineral fiber material that is characterized by low weight and maximum rigidity. Customized for each speaker model and in combination with the newly developed magnet system, each bass driver delivers high levels with minimal distortion - ideal for transparent and powerful bass during playback.

The best of the digital & analog world

Powered by Class D amplifiers, the bass drivers are ideal for linear performance and minimal distortion. The power amplifiers used impress with their high efficiency and low heat generation while creating the potential for further improvements and even higher performance.

Class AB power amplifiers, which are known for their particularly neutral reproduction of high frequencies, are used for high-range and, depending on the model, mid-range drivers.

DSP technology

Compared to purely analog speakers, A-Series models offer significantly improved and more extensive fine-tuning options. Thanks to the integrated DSP, the speakers can be easily connected via Ethernet and fed with the latest firmware updates. So you always get the latest filter types, voicings and more.

The 4-band equalizer with its parameters for bass, desk, presence and Treble enables over 100 variants of fine tuning for adjustments to the most demanding listening environments in a matter of seconds.

Another practical feature is the remote control option via A Control Remote software. Here you can conveniently adjust the monitoring volumes and all settings, regardless of your monitoring position. The quick reconfiguration of all monitor functions via A Control is particularly useful in multi-purpose studio rooms.

However, if you prefer to calibrate your setup with the help of a measuring microphone and the popular Sonarworks software (both not included), you can also do this without any problems!
