comp Black from 2hp is a mono compressor module for audio signals. With the parameters Threshold, Ratio, Attack and Release , it has everything a studio compressor needs to process the signal in a matching way. Applied to basslines or lead sounds, this gives them more assertiveness and presence. Drums, on the other hand, can literally be trimmed and smoothed with Comp Black . Thanks to the sidechain input (key), a drone sound can be dynamically adjusted with the help of a kick drum.
