Erica Synths Drum Programmer is a USB interface, which is needed to play own samples on the Pico Drum Module. The interface on the back of the module is plugged into a special port and connected to the computer via Mini USB. The samples are then loaded into the module using a browser plug-in. The drum samples cannot be arbitrary. To work properly, they must be mono, have a sample rate of 44.1 kHz and 16 bit resolution. The exact procedure is described in the Pico Drums manual. Pico Drums is part of the Pico series, which consists of particularly space-saving 3HP Eurorack modules. With the Pico modules complex modular synthesizers can be assembled in mini format.
