      New in Nuendo 14:

      • Adaptive Background Attenuation (ABA): Automatic mix assistant that lowers background noise relative to the dialog track to make dialog easier to understand.
      • AI-supported dialog transcription / Speech-to-Text: Nuendo 14 can automatically transcribe dialog tracks and convert them into ADR cycle markers - including inserting them into existing markers or creating new markers.
      • Game Audio Connect 3 / Wwise integration with real-time preview: Sound effects from Audiokinetic Wwise can be previewed directly in Nuendo without prior export. Parameters can be controlled dynamically.
      • Event volume curves (clip gain curves): Level changes can be made directly within an audio event without having to switch tools.
      • Audio segment recognition: Nuendo can automatically identify and select related audio units (e.g. words or phrases).
      • New modulators allow automated, parameter-based variation of sounds (e.g. LFO, step, envelope follower etc.).
      • New plug-ins such as Shimmer, Underwater, StudioDelay and AutoFilter have been added.
      • Improved video engine & 4K/8K support: Rendering and output of high-resolution videos (4K, 8K), improved scaling in the video window, more efficient processing without resolution limitation (with sufficient hardware).

Thanks to unlimited audio, MIDI and instrument tracks, up to 256 group channels, 8 sends, 64 returns and 256 physical inputs and outputs, Nuendo 14 offers maximum flexibility for complex production environments.

      The 64-bit audio engine supports sample rates of up to 384 kHz and guarantees absolute precision and transparency. For video professionals, two video tracks and a state-of-the-art video engine with 4K and 8K support are available.

      ADR, Foley & Co. - complete solutions for film and TV workflows

      Nuendo 14 is ideally equipped for professional dubbing and voice recording. The integrated ADR taker with script reader, video overlay, take lists and TTAL import/export supports every production step - from recording to final mix. EdiCue integration, ADR API, Foley recording and much more are also directly integrated.

      For modern streaming standards, Nuendo 14 offers a comprehensive ADM authoring module including Dolby Atmos renderer with up to 118 audio objects, 64 beds and support for MPEG-H and OSC. Other features such as Auro-3D, AES31, MXF (audio), Netflix Loudness Meter, Intelligibility Meter and ReConforming round off the post-production package.


      Game audio & immersive sound design

      For game developers, Nuendo 14 provides special tools such as Game Audio Connect, Wwise support and Game Sound FX. These allow sound effects, music and atmospheres to be integrated directly into game engines.

      Nuendo 14 also impresses in the area of immersive audio formats: with Sound Particles Space Controller OSC, Headphones Match for over 380 headphone models, Dolby Atmos Setup Assistant, Binaural Downmix and support for 22.2 Surround, 3D mixes and virtual soundscapes can be easily realized. Thanks to dearVR Spatial Connect, sound designers can even work directly in VR environments.

      Creative work with modern production tools

      In addition to the professional post functions, Nuendo 14 shines with comprehensive production tools for musicians and sound designers. The powerful MixConsole offers a history, snapshots, direct routing, up to three windows and an integrated channel strip. Four virtual instruments with over 3000 sounds, 18 MIDI and 92 audio effects as well as the FX Modulator enable creative sound design without limits.

      VariAudio with Scale Assistant facilitates pitch corrections, while functions such as Audio-to-MIDI chord recognition, Chord Pads, Time Warp, TrackVersion or Expression Maps make composing and arranging more intuitive. Logical, key, note, list and drum editors as well as MPE support and professional notation functions including MusicXML, AAF and OMF support are also available.
